Now that you've been gathering your ideas for your party, how do you get started? This is the best part!
- Go to The Party Builder's home page at www.thepartybuilder.com
- If you have not already registered, the link to the registration page is on the lower right of the home page. You need to be a registered user in
order to book a service or venue through The Party Builder. But, don't worry!
The Party Builder does not sell or distribute your personal information to any third parties, other than those you request to contact you.
Once you have registered with your email address and a password, you're ready to get the party started!
- Click Find and Book a Venue and decide how far you will ask your guests to travel. Depending on the size of the party, you can do something in your own town
or up to 75 miles away.
You can also leave the Within box blank and search all of your possible venue choices.
- Click Start Planning Your Event and proceed to the next screen to bring up all the venues in your area.
- Suppose you're considering having your party at the MIT Museum; Click the orange highlighted link to read more about their function rooms, capacity and what
services they provide when you choose them. http://web.mit.edu/museum
- Once you have a venue you'd like to speak with, check the box to the left of the name and click the Next arrow at either the very top or the very bottom of
the venue listings.
You can request information from one or as many venues as services as you would like at one time and decide which one is best for you.
- Fill out the boxes in the screen to tell your venue what type of party you are having.
- Use the online calendar to determine the venue or the service's availability.
- Reserve the rooms and services you would like for your party.
- Ask any other questions you may have in the Additional Comments box, prior to submitting your information to the venue.
This will ensure that when you hear back from them, they will have the right answers!
Then you can log into your account home to track the status of your requests. Use these messages to compare prices and availability of
several venues or vendors to ensure you have top-notch service providers at their most competitive prices.
At the top of your account screen are five buttons:

The Party Builder keeps an online calendar for its members of all the events taking place in the area. Post your party online for other members to view and increase your attendance. |

Book entertainers, graphic designers, transportation, security and other service providers the same way you did your venue. You will notice in booking your next service, the information from your previous request will automatically carry over. If you are booking providers for different parties, be sure to return to your home page and give each party a different name so the price and availability quotes you get from your providers are accurate.
Then submit your party information about your party to your top choices and view your account home for their responses!

- Response time varies from provider to provider.
- The Party Builder has no control over how quickly they respond to your request for information.
- We suggest that if a vendor takes a long time to respond, responds without answering your questions to your satisfaction, or does not respond, to choose another provider from our list.
That's it! The service providers and venues you were interested in will be in touch with you with the information you requested. Should you choose to book them, your service providers can accept your credit card payment safely and securely through The Party Builder online and create an invoice to be emailed to you for your records. You can have as much direct contact with your service provider as you want prior to your party; you are not required to work through The Party Builder for every detail as you are when you work with traditional booking agencies.
Gone are the days of searching through the yellow pages, asking friends if they "know someone" or working through overpriced booking agencies. The Party Builder has everything you need to plan any type of party or fundraiser you can imagine. And The Party Builder delivers your party right to your inbox.
